Please join me in welcoming Eleanor to The Grove’s finance team.

We have waited patiently for Eleanor to join us – if she thinks she is excited, you must know how we feel! Beyond excited…

“Born and bred in Cape Town, I am married and am blessed with 2 children. I live a simple life and value time with my family above all else.

My work experience has been in finance and administration in the 20 years that I have joined the working world after I matriculated in 1994.

I have had the privilege to be part of some awesome teams and companies in various industries who has helped me grow and become the person I am today. I celebrate my 40th this year and am very excited to be joining the Grove team !! ”

And a warm welcome to Hannah Kirkaldy who joins our IP Intern team

“My name is Hannah Kirkaldy. I was born in a small town in Limpopo. My family moved to Grahamstown when I was in Grade 9, and I finished school there. I studied at Rhodes University, and while I was there got involved in projects at schools. I discovered that I really enjoyed teaching, and decided to do a PGCE. I enjoy reading, the occasional computer game, and Karate. I’ve just moved to Cape Town from Grahamstown, and am very excited about joining The Grove, and looking forward to meeting you all!”

And last but not least, welcome to Nozipho Mthembu, who joins us as a substitute teacher while Nanette Hendricks is on maternity leave

Hi I’m Nozipho (Nozi) Mthembu. I was born in Kwa-Zulu Natal, grew up in Johannesburg and now living the good life in Cape Town.  I’m passionate about children, I love travelling and enjoy taking time out to enjoy life whether it’s with my family or friends.

Knowing I can make a positive impact on least one child through developing their skills, widening their knowledge or just watching them grow is the reason I pride myself on being

an educator.

My motto in life is learning is for life as life has been given to us for learning.
